Announced by BMW at a base price of $149,382, the new 2025 BMW M5 marks a significant milestone with its new 717 horsepower hybrid powertrain and 738 lb-ft of torque! This seventh generation, the most powerful in the model's history, will be launched in November 2024 and will arrive at your BMW West Island dealership during the year 2025.

For now, BMW has announced an MSRP price of $149,382 for the 2025 BMW M5 Touring trim. Naturally, various options and packages will be available to customize your vehicle, such as adding carbon touches, which will vary the price of the BMW M5.

Enhanced Engine and Performance
Gone are the days of the fuel-thirsty V10 BMW M5; for the first time in 40 years, the sports car receives a hybrid powertrain, offering even more power and remarkable energy efficiency. It features a BMW M Hybrid system, combining a high-revving V8 engine equipped with M TwinPower Turbo technology and an electric motor, delivering a power output of 717 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque! The performance is impressive, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of up to 305 km/h.
The engine is paired with an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission and BMW xDrive all-wheel drive. The 14.8 kWh battery is strategically positioned to lower the center of gravity without compromising the interior space of the BMW M5 and offers an estimated all-electric range of 40 km.
The chassis benefits from increased rigidity and a 50/50 weight distribution, the running gear provides a more precise and dynamic driving experience. The M adaptive suspension with electronically controlled dampers also optimizes comfort through reactive sensors, and the braking power is enhanced by the new upgraded system.
Additionally, M Carbon ceramic brakes are available as an option to increase braking power and reduce vehicle weight.
New Exterior Design for the 2025 BMW M5
The new BMW features more aggressive and aerodynamic lines, as well as a restyled front and rear end. The enlarged glossy black grille presents illuminated contours and is accompanied by a double light signature from the headlights.
The BMW M5 displays distinct dimensions from the BMW 5 Series, with widened sides and a significantly increased length, asserting both a more athletic personality and making no compromises on interior space. The flared wheel arches allow it to accommodate larger tires. Moreover, it features 20-inch front and 21-inch rear rims for maximum road adherence.
